Mission to Destroy Accomplished, Time for Narrative Management (DNR #397)

Do Not Resuscitate asks, Why do we spend trillions and get lousy healthcare? This week's edition discusses the GOP spin that we're hearing about how they're not really wrecking the federal regulatory, research, and safety net infrastructure but merely "saving" the system from deadbeats. It's not greedy disdain for the vulnerable, oh no! Also, how they're using solid criticisms of our scientific establishment's shortcomings to repoliticize toward their own biases while some surprising fightback emerges from, of all places, the VA.
